In the first story, Rip Van Winkle , who is a lazy man, finds himself in the middle of an adventure and sleeps for over 20 years. When he wakes up he realizes that everything has changed. In the second story Ichabod Crane, who lives in a village called sleepy hollow, finds himself in a challenge with a headless horseman.
