We have all used forms of manipulation in our lifetime. For example, a child manipulating a parent by crying incessantly when that parent balks at the idea of buying them the latest toy, crying to the point where that parent just eventually wears down and gives in or altering our appearance with the intention of getting a specific reaction or getting others to perceive us in a certain way.
